Aurora Szentagotai-Tătar is a professor of clinical psychology and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Babes-Bolyai University. She is Director of the Doctoral School of Psychodiagnostic and Psychological Interventions Scientifically Validated, member of the steering committee of the Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapies in Romania and associate member of the Albert Ellis Institute, New York. She is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, and her clinical and research interests include scientifically validated psychological interventions, the mechanisms of psychopathology, and factors that contribute to happiness and well-being. She has over 100 publications, has led numerous research projects and she was involved in more than 20 clinical trials on the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral interventions for various issues.
